PRESIDENT
Mr. Jack Neufeld is the President of the Neufeld Family Foundation. He brings to humanitarian projects a wealth of construction and project management experience and a heart for making a practical difference in the struggle to reduce poverty and alleviate suffering.
At age 33 he founded a construction company that, within 10 years, became one of the top 50 construction companies in Canada. This company had impressive experience in building residential housing, high rises, schools, office buildings, churches, hospitals, high tech research buildings, bridges, overpasses, and multi million dollar installations in the Arctic. His company was chosen to build the Olympic Hall of Fame and Visitor Center at Canada Olympic Park for the 1988 Winter Olympics held in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. He is well known for his ability to select and manage a team and bring projects to completion on time and on budget.
For a number of years he has served on the board of Samaritan's Purse, a quick response organization that brings effective relief to the suffering and loss occasioned by natural disasters throughout the world. They also undertake massive nation wide projects in health care, AIDS prevention and treatment, and permanent low cost housing (see the Samartians Purse website). He is also a member of the Board of Governors of a western Canadian university college and seminary.
